NFC South Bust and Fantasy League Winners 2023

If you want to win your fantasy leagues, you have to make sure to draft these NFC south players. However, there are also a couple of NFC South players you are going to want to avoid as they might lose you your leagues.

League Winners:

Bijan Robinson:
Not very many RBs are drafted in the first round of the NFL Draft, let alone within the top 8 picks. The Falcons clearly saw a rare talent in Robinson, especially considering they drafted him when their 2022 5th round pick rushed for 1000+ yards last season. A rebuilding team taking a chance on a running back within the first 8 picks tells us a lot considering they had so many other holes to fill on their roster. Bijan is a rare talent, there is not denying it, and he is set up for success playing in this Falcons offense. He is an extremely good route runner for a RB, as well as being fast, tough to tackle, elusive and has excellent vision. drafting him with the 1.08 seems like a no-brainer given his potential playing behind the Falcons’s great offensive line. Even if you are nervous about drafting a rookie in the first round of the fantasy draft, draft Bijan, because he is a bluechip prospect that will win you your fantasy leagues if you get him at a good value.

Rachaad White

With Kyle Trask and Baker Mayfield dueling it out for the QB1 spot, either QB is sure to be the worst in the national football league. With that said, i expect for the run game to be a big factor for Tampa this year. Rachaad white showed a lot of promise last year and i expect the Bucs to give him a more involved role in 2023. You can get him as the RB23, which is decent value for someone with him upside.

Bust:

Miles Sanders

Don’t be fooled by Sanders stats last year. He finished as the 5th best rusher in terms of yards and the RB10 in fantasy. However, he was playing behind the best offensive line in football, now he is in Carolina and expected to possibly be a workhorse back. That is a work load he cannot keep up with and despite being the RB10 last year he is not even going to finish within the top 20 RBs in the 2023 fantasy season. He is currently being drafted as the RB21, but there are going to be way better options on the board such as White, Cam Akers and Dalvin Cook. All 3 of those running backs have a higher upside than Sanders. Do not draft Sanders, you will lose your fantasy leagues.
